Yellowhead Storage regularly hosts live virtual storage auctions, giving customers the opportunity to bid on individual storage units. These auctions take place once or twice a year, and bidders can view photos and descriptions of each unit before placing their bids. Our online auction format allows participants to take part in the excitement from the comfort of their own homes.
How Storage Auctions Work
Storage auctions, often called “Live Auctions” or popularized by “Storage Wars”, offer a unique and affordable way to purchase storage unit contents at discounted prices. These units become available for auction when renters abandon their storage spaces or fail to pay their monthly rent.
Auctions are hosted online at Bid13.com, where participants can:
- Browse available units and review detailed descriptions
- Place competitive bids in a secure online auction environment
- Win full storage unit contents at a fraction of retail prices
